Dr. Corey approach to whole body care is exactly what I wanted. He listened to my concerns…he heard me and gave me the care that I requested and needed… I like his approach of training the body to heal. Gentle, one step at a time, he doesn't force the adjustments, he is respectful and genuinely cares…

What I appreciate most is that Dr. Corey truly listens, explains what he's doing, and never makes the appointment feel rushed. He treats the whole body, not just the area that feels sore, which has made such a difference in my healing.

Dr. Corey is the first professional I've been to who has actually focused on both! I actually feel like a patient whose provider is working hard to find and solve the problems I'm suffering from, rather than just another customer. My care is always top notch and he's always asking for feedback in order to ensure that personalized approach. 100% recommend this place

A closer look

Why the examination comes before the treatment plan

Firm Foundation is built around the idea that the painful area is only one part of the story. The first step is understanding the history, how symptoms behave, how you move, what your day or training asks of you, and whether the problem is appropriate for conservative musculoskeletal care.

That information helps determine which tools actually belong in the plan. Chiropractic adjustments, movement work, rehabilitation, soft-tissue treatment, activity changes, or referral can each make sense in the right situation, but no single tool is automatically the answer for every patient.

Care designed for real life outside the office

Progress should show up in the things you need to do: getting through a workday, sleeping more comfortably, turning your head while driving, lifting, exercising, playing with your kids, or returning to sport. The goal is to build a plan around those demands rather than a preset visit schedule.

Common questions

Questions we hear about this topic

What is included in the $49 new patient visit?

The new patient visit includes time for the history, a thorough examination, movement assessment when relevant, explanation of the findings, and a first adjustment when the examination indicates it is appropriate.

Will I see Dr. Corey at each visit?

Yes. Firm Foundation is a solo practice, so your visits are directly with Dr. Corey Strunk, DC rather than rotating through a large treatment team.

Do you combine chiropractic adjustments with rehabilitation?

Yes, when that combination fits the examination and your goals. Care can include adjustments, movement assessment, individualized exercises, soft-tissue work, and practical activity guidance.

What if chiropractic care is not the right next step?

If the history or examination suggests that imaging, medical evaluation, or another provider should come first, that should be explained and recommended rather than forcing the problem into a chiropractic plan.
