If you’ve been putting off an appointment because you don’t have insurance—or aren’t sure whether your plan covers chiropractic care—you may have more options than you realize.

You do not need insurance to schedule an appointment at Firm Foundation Wellness Center in Keller. Our office uses a self-pay approach, with several payment options to help make care affordable.

We believe you should understand your options and feel comfortable asking questions before deciding how to move forward.

How self-pay chiropractic care works

Self-pay means you pay the office directly for your care. At Firm Foundation Wellness Center, we do not bill insurance directly.

You can visit us whether you have insurance or not. If you do have coverage, we can provide a superbill upon request that you may submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

A superbill does not guarantee payment from your insurance company. Your plan determines whether your care qualifies for reimbursement and what requirements apply. If reimbursement matters to your decision, contact your insurer before your visit.

Several options to help make care affordable

Cost is a reasonable concern, and we want you to feel comfortable bringing it up.

We offer several payment options, including individual visits, optional prepaid packages, and monthly membership options. Our office can explain the current choices and help you understand how they fit the care you are considering.

You do not need to know which option you want before scheduling an examination. First, we need to understand your concerns, evaluate whether chiropractic care is appropriate, and discuss our findings with you.

Your care recommendations should reflect your needs. Your payment arrangement is a separate decision. You can ask about costs and options before agreeing to proceed.

A thank-you to military members and first responders

Firm Foundation Wellness Center offers a 15% discount for military members and first responders as a thank-you for their service to our communities.

Let us know when you contact the office so we can explain eligibility and how the discount applies to your visit or chosen payment option.

What your first visit is meant to accomplish

An appointment should give you more than a place on a treatment schedule. It should give you a clearer understanding of your situation.

Dr. Corey Strunk takes time to hear your history, understand what is bothering you, and examine the movements and activities relevant to your concerns. He then explains the findings and discusses appropriate next steps.

Those next steps may include chiropractic care, rehabilitation exercises, changes to daily activity, or referral to another provider when appropriate. Treatment is recommended according to the examination—not simply because you booked an appointment.

You should have room to ask questions about both your care and its cost.
